Welcome to the very personalized group travel world of Anne Cottrell.
Anne has been working in the field of student travel since 1977 when spending two years in Quebec City she took a hiatus from working for the Federal Government in Ottawa where she was involved in sports and recreation development leading up to and including the Montreal Olympic Games. In 1979 Anne moved to Toronto, where she promoted and organized student tours and conventions to the Province of Quebec.
Soon after she joined what would become one of the largest student tour operators in Canada, and developed the concept of music tours for young people from the high school to college level.. Whether organizing tours to Europe, the US or within Canada, the company grew and contracts included organizing on site entertainment at Expo 86 in Vancouver.. It was then, after returning from a 6 month relocation to Vancouver, that Anne set up her permanent base in Toronto and started her own travel agency, Anne Cottrell Travel Enterprises.
Anne joined forces with Jeeves Travel back in 1993, which then operated the student tours under various names including more recently, RAINBOW HIGH VACATIONS, now reverting back to the original registered name and parent company, of Jeeves Travel.
Time has moved on and the name has changed, but one consistency remains and that is the wish to organize a truly personal and customized tour for every group who chooses to make the call.
Anne likes to spend time at home these days, cooking, being with her cats, socializing with friends and probably working harder than ever to give every student and every group leader a travel experience to remember. She still travels to meet her family back in England and Spain, her favourite cities of New York and New Orleans, takes the occasional cruise and returned to Greece this year
